I'll Gladly Sign Your Book!

Before flying the friendly skies Oct. 3 for an annual trip with my wife, I made a point to stop at Barbara's Bookstore at O'Hare to sign some copies of A Racket in the Burbs. Despite me not being a morning person, the supervisor, Tawny, helped make it a pleasant visit.

If you're travelling through O'Hare International Airport and like crime fiction featuring the collusion of corrupt city polticians and the mob, be sure to give A Racket in the Burbs a look. I hear it's a good beach read, but I imagine it's also a good diversion from the tedium of flight delays, boring business meetings, solicitious strangers, etc.

Thanks to all the staff at Barbara's for making an effort to stock and sell my book. In particular, thanks to Jamaal, Edwin, Ryan, Christine, Shannon, and others mentioned in the acknowledgments section of

A Racket in the Burbs.

Also, much appreciation to my readers and other polite travellers.
