Historical Voices Coming in the Near Future

An Irish American youngster's struggle to befriend gangsters, get ahead, respect his family, and win the girl is coming to iTunes and Audible this summer.

North Side Hellion is in the works to be an audiobook. For those who like to be read to on their phones, MP3 players, and other mobile devices, my novelization of Prohibition should be available in late July

Aiden McCarthy's story weaves through the

tempestuous tapestry of Chicago during Prohibition. He tangos with real-life outlaws such as Alphonse Capone and Dean O'Banion, to bring bootleg to a thirsty public.

An olive-skinned, spirited Italian gal also pulls on Aiden's heart strings as he tries to stay true to his folks while navigating his emergence as an Adult. A fine band of misfits join in on his adventure.

On the road to to North Side Hellion's availability as an audiobook, I've found help through the Audiobook Creation Exchange, where I found my narrator, Philip Benoit.

With a career in academia, communications, and as a producer, Mr. Benoit is lending his considerable talents to make this venture possible. We are about half way through production, giving voice to characters throughout what the Midwest Book Review calls a "roller-coaster ride of a historical adventure."
