Speaking of finding good books at the library... my well reviewed debut thriller, A Racket in the Burbs, is popping up at a number of libraries around the Midwest. I've already noted that Chicago Public Library has a copy here.

Residents of Wisconsin's Fox Cities can use their library cards to check it out through the Winnefox Library System. In my home town, the Neenah Public Library carries A Racket in the Burbs.

The public library system in Oak Park, Illinois also carries a copy for checkout.

I particularly like that Oak Park Public Library carries A Racket in the Burbs because some of the post-mobster plot happens there. Once most of the gunfire is silent, Ron McCallister and Carey Sullivan say goodbye to Chicagoland for a while during a final scene in Oak Park preceding the story's denouement.

Reader will have to wait until a planned sequel to see where their journey leads...

Until then, thriller-lovers may check out my debut, which the Midwest Book Review calls "a riveting read from beginning to end." at a growing number of local libraries.
