Smashing the eBook Rackets!

In the journey to self-publish and tell stories to the greatest amount of readers possible,

one learns a lot.

Amazon is a great platform and retailer for eBooks, but so are Kobo, Barnes and Noble's Nook, Apple iBook, and Overdrive for public libraries. My debut thriller, A Racket in the Burbs, is undergoing changes to reach readers who use these devices as well.

As of June 1st, readers who prefer to curl up with eReaders should be able to find A Racket in the Burbs on Nook, Apple iBook, and more. The change is part of my collaboration with SmashWords. I look forward to being able to reach more readers and offer a more reader-friendly price in the near future.

With any leisure time you find between now and then, please feel free to check out A Racket in the Burbs in print form on the web at Barbara's Bookstore, Barnes and Noble, or a number of public libraries. Amazon also carries print and exclusive eBook editions.

Between raising my infant son, attempting to maintain some level of household sanity, and retooling A Racket in the Burbs, I am also drafting and editing my first historical fiction novel on Prohibition Chicago. I should be able to make it available sometime in the fall of 2016. Stay tuned.

For all bookworms, library-dwellers, and lovers of spine-tingling fiction and history, please find time for recreation and stay well-read!
