This November, as the U.S. and the world fret about whether the next president will be Clinton, Trump, or whoever wins a post-election coup, why not curl up to a toasty fire and escape to when political corruption, music, and revolution were sexy?

My next novel, North Side Hellion, examines Chicago Prohibitions's tango between the sacred and the profane through the eyes of young man and Irish-American character, Aiden McCarthy.

Aiden encounters real-life gangsters, Dean O'Banion, John Torrio, and a young Alphonse Capone, deciding which storied personalities he will work with, compete with, or respectfully loathe. He also falls in love and befriends fellow misfits while staying as true as he can to his family.
