A Chicago Prohibition Tale for Local Book Lovers

North Side Hellion is my tale of a young Irish American man torn between gangland drama, family duty, and the allure of an Italian gal during Prohibition Chicago. The protagonist, Aiden McCarthy, hobnobs with such characters as Dean O'Banion and a young Alphonse Capone in a captivating story

to please history buffs, adventure-lovers, romantics, and their friends and family.

This Prohibition story of family, love, and the mob is on its way to local Chicago indie bookstores and several public libraries as well as the national chains. Meeting booksellers, bookstore owners, my readers, and librarians in hopes of promoting North Side Hellion in the real world is a treat, even for a relative introvert like me.

Indie Bound carries North Side Hellion for independent bookstores nationwide. I met with Erika, the charming owner of Roscoe Books, and two booksellers at City Lit Books this past Tuesday to see about adding my book to their collections and do events in the future. More info on local indie bookstore events to come.

To my readers: thank you, tell tales to your loved ones, keep warm and stay well-read.
